wildlife and nature artist extraordinaire
"Tillenius is one of the finest painters of wild life our country has produced. But he is more than this. Explorer, lecturer, teacher, photographer and writer, he has risen to a rigid integrity that tolerates no compromise. He does not imagine his subjects, he lives with them, senses their innermost feelings, empathizes and then distills their essence into the deft lines and subtle shadings that characterize his art." Richard Savage, writer and film producer.
